Fischer, Tebeau and Dinunzio All Claim Back to Back Titles
TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- Charlie Fischer, Jack Tebeau and Roslie Dinunzio all successfully defended their titles at the rain shortened 2021 BDGA Jr. Stroke Play Championship hosted by Sheridan Park Golf Course.
Charlie Fischer of East Aurora CC shot 2 over-par 109 for 27 holes after inclement weather shortened Round 1 to 9 holes. Fischer claimed a 3 stroke lead over Ryan Edholm to capture the 2021 BDGA Boys' Jr. Stroke Play Championship. In addition to this year's championship, Fischer also took home the 2020 BDGA Jr. Stroke Play Championship and the 2019 BDGA Sub-Jr. Stroke Play Championship.
Jack Tebeau of Crag Burn GC captured back-to-back BDGA Sub-Jr. Stroke Play Championships by shooting an 8 over-par 115 to edge out John Giangreco by 3 strokes in the 2021 BDGA Sub-Jr. Stroke Play Championship.
Rosalie Dinunzio shot 11 over-par 121 to capture her second BDGA Girls' Jr Stroke Play Championship, and third BDGA Jr. title after taking home the 2020 BDGA Girls' Jr. Stroke Play Championship and 2020 BDGA Girls' Jr. Match Play Championship.
Tatiana Tutko captured the 2021 BDGA Sub-Jr. Girls' Stroke Play Championship by 11 strokes over Cate West.
