Edholm, Kumiega Victorious at Match Play Championship

EAST AURORA, N.Y. -- Ryan Edholm (pictured above) of Pendleton Creek GC captured the 2024 BDGA Match Play Championship hosted by Crag Burn Golf Club. Edholm defeated Billy Hanes of Crag Burn 5&4 in the Championship Match. This is Edholm's second straight BDGA Match Play title and his second victory of the 2024 season, having won the Erie County Amateur in July.
In the 2024 BDGA Senior Match Play Championship, Brian Kumiega of CCB defeated Andy Bernatovicz of River Oaks GC on the 20th hole of the final match to secure the victory. This is Kumiega's second victory on the BDGA Senior circuit this season, having also won the Erie County Senior Amateur.
