Alterio Victorious at Senior Championship

YOUNGSTOWN, N.Y. -- PJ Alterio of Niagara Falls CC was crowned the 2023 BDGA Senior Champion after posting a two day total of 8-over,150. Alterio narrowly defeated Steve Stone of Sheridan Park GC by a one-stroke margin. This is Alterio's second title of the summer, having won the 2023 Erie County Senior Amateur Championship.
In the Legends division, John Gaffney of Brookfield CC posted a two-day total of 11-over, 153 to defeat John Miosi of Seneca Hickory Stick GC by 5 strokes.
In the Masters division, Bob DeWitt of Transit Valley CC fired a two-day total of 6-over, 148 to defeat Fred Gigliotti of River Oaks GC by a 5-stroke margin.
