Boyes Claims 2023 Mid-Am Victory

RIDGEWAY, ON – Kristopher Boyes of host Cherry Hill Club captured the 2023 BDGA Mid-Amateur Championship with a par on the final hole to finish with a two day total of two-over-par, 146. Boyes had a one shot lead over Ryan Dyck (Cherry Hill Club) heading into the par-5 18th at Cherry Hill. This is Boyes' first BDGA Mid-Am title after finishing tied for second in 2022.
Course knowledge proved pivotal on a windy final day, as five of the top eight finishers played out of host club Cherry Hill. Rounding out the top 5 were Adam Creighton (Cherry Hill), Andy Fretthold (Wanakah CC), and Dave Bunker (Cherry Hill).
