Hart Wins Back-to-Back BDGA Jr. Stroke Play Titles
Amherst, N.Y. – Ryan Hart (CC of Buffalo) successfully defended his BDGA Jr. Stroke Play title by capturing the 2019 BDGA Junior Stroke Play Championship hosted by Transit Valley Country Club. Hart edged out Andrew Locango (East Aurora CC) and Anthony Delisanti (Willowbrook GC)in a sudden death playoff after the trio finished with a 36-Hole total of 1 over-par 143. Hart closed out the playoff with a birdie on the second hole.
Jacob Dantonio (Crag Burn GC) won the Boys’ Sub-Junior division by shooting a 36-Hole total of 3 over-par 145 to beat Robbie Cehulik (Lockport Town & CC) by two strokes.
Angeline Perillo (Fox Valley Club) won the Girls’ Junior division with a 36-Hole total of 153 to beat Amie Scherrer (Park CC).
Lily Zhang (Park CC) won the Girls’ Sub-Junior division with a 18-Hole total of 6 over-par 77 to beat Carmela Carlisi.
