Hanes Captures 2022 BDGA Match Play Championship

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Billy Hanes of Crag Burn GC captured the 2022 BDGA Match Play Championship hosted by Harvest Hill Golf Course. Hanes defeated Charlie Fischer of East Aurora CC with a par on the 20th hole of the Championship Match.
In the 2022 BDGA Senior Match Play Championship, Andy Bernatovicz of River Oaks GC defeated PJ Alterio of Niagara Falls CC. Bernatovicz closed out the match on the 17th hole with a 30 foot birdie putt to win the match 2&1, taking out Alterio who was the defending champion of the BDGA Senior Match Play Championship.
