Bernatovicz Completes Senior Sweep with BDGA Senior Championship Victory
EAST AMHERST, N.Y. -- Andy Bernatovicz of River Oaks Golf Club completed the sweep of the BDGA Senior Circut after capturing the 2022 BDGA Senior Championship hosted by Transit Valley Country Club. Bernatovicz finished with a two round total of 5 over-par, 157, giving him a one stroke victory over Kevin Kaszuba (Shorewood CC). in 2022 Bernatovicz also took home the BDGA Senior Match Play Championship and Low-Senior of the BDGA Individual Championship.
Ken Augustyniak (Gowanda CC) was victorious in the Legends division (ages 60-69) with a 15-over-par 159, giving him a one stroke victory over John Fretthold (River Oaks GC).
Fred Gigliotti (River Oaks GC) captured the victory in the Masters division (ages 70+) by a 10 stroke margin with a 10-over-par 154 performance. Nick Amigone III of host Transit Valley CC finished runner-up.
