2022 Erie County Amateur Championship Recap
ELMA, N.Y.-- Billy Hanes (Crag Burn GC) carded rounds of 67 & 71 to finish 2 under-par, 138 en route to capturing the 2022 Erie County Amateur Champion. Hanes secured a 3-stroke victory over Tyler Edholm (Pendleton Creek GC) after both players fired 71 in the final round.
Kristina Visniesky (NYSGA eClub - WNY) captured the 2022 Erie County Women's Amateur Championship, after carding rounds of 77 & 75, 152 finishing the tournament at 10 over-par, giving her a 10-stroke victory over Caroline Yarnall (Crag Burn GC).
Claudiu Mihai (Elma Meadows GC) carded rounds of 73 and 75 to edge out Bob Rosen (CC of Buffalo) by 5-strokes enroute to capturing the 2022 Erie County Senior Amateur Championship.
Teagan Mauro (Crag Burn GC) carded rounds of 70 and 69 to finish 1 under-par for the tournament, edging out Tyler Delisanti (Transit Valley CC) by 6-strokes to capture the 2022 Erie County Boys' Championship.
