Park Lone NYS Representative in 74th U.S. Women's Open
CHARLESTON, N.C. (June 3, 2019) - Annie Park was unable to advance past the first two rounds of stroke play during this weekend’s 74th U.S. Women’s Open at Country Club of Charleston.

CHARLESTON, N.C. (May 28, 2019) – Annie Park of Levittown will be the lone New York State representative at the 74th U.S. Women’s Open Championship at the Country Club of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina this weekend, May 30 – June 2.

Park was exempt from sectional qualifying for this year’s championship. She will tee off at 1:29 pm on Thursday on Hole #10 and 7:44 am on Hole #1 on Friday.
The U.S. Women’s Open consists of 18 holes of stroke play, Thursday through Sunday. The starting field of 156 golfers will be cut after 36 holes to the low 60 scorers. Sectional qualifying for the championship was conducted at twenty-one domestic and four international sites between April 22 and May 8.
The Country Club of Charleston will be set up at 6,535 yards and will play to a par of 71.
Park has played in two U.S. Women’s Opens (2012 & 2013) but failed to make the cut both years. During her collegiate career at Southern California, Park won a NCAA DI Women’s Golf Individual Championship, as well as a Pac-12 Championship. She joined the LPGA Tour in 2016.
