2023 NYSGA Champions, Runner-ups & Complete Results

JAMESVILLE, N.Y. – 2023 marked another great season of championship golf competition in the Empire State. The NYSGA conducted a full tournament schedule, including twenty NYSGA championship titles held between New Rochelle and East Aurora. Related: View 2023 Annual Report Seventeen players captured their first state titles including John Benware (Men's Legends), Andy Bernatovicz (Sr. Four-Ball), Jamie Brown (Mixed Team), Jeffrey Brown (Mixed Team), Kellen Dean (Boys' 18U), Kyle Downey (Men's Am), Meredith Hobika (Sr. Mixed Team), Connor Jackson (Boys' 14U), Sandra Jackson (Women's Sr. Four-Ball), Jordan Levitt (Girls' Junior), Dan Levinson (Super Sr. Four-Ball), Ingrid Narken (Women's Sr., Women's Sr. Four-Ball), Alexandra Phung (Girls' 14U), Samantha Schuffenecker (Women's Mid-Am), Philip Stegemann (Men's Super Sr.), Tom Yellin (Super Sr. Four-Ball), and Lily Zhang (Women's Am). Eight others reclaimed a past title or captured a new one including Karen Feldman (Women's Super Senior), Emily Gresham (Women's Four-Ball), Billy Hanes (Mid-Am, Four-Ball), David Hanes (Four-Ball), Luke Hobika (Sr. Mixed Team), Kenneth Riter (Sr. Four-Ball), Jim Scorse (Men's Senior), and Julia Zigrossi (Women's Four-Ball). This year’s schedule was hosted by a group of New York’s top clubs including Corning Country Club, Crag Burn Golf Club, En-Joie Golf Course, Lake Placid Club's Link Course and Mountain Course, Leatherstocking Golf Course, Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club, Turning Stone Resort & Casino's Kaluhyat Course and Shenendoah Course, Whiteface Club & Resort, Wykagyl Country Club, and Yahnundasis Golf Club.
