Seven Individuals to be Inducted into 2025 NYSGA Hall of Fame Class
JAMESVILLE, N.Y. – The New York State Golf Association (NYSGA) Hall of Fame Committee has elected seven individuals to the New York State Golf Association’s Hall of Fame, Class of 2025.

The elected individuals are:
Debbie Austin - Player
Moira Dunn-Bohls - Player
Ed Furgol - Player
Craig Harmon - PGA Professional
Wayne Levi - Player
Sherrill Sherman - Contributor
George Zahringer - Player, Contributor
This year's honorees were selected by a statewide panel of electors which included representatives of designated state regions as well as at-large electors representing the state as a whole. The NYSGA Hall of Fame Committee consists of John Blain (CNY), Pete Dougherty (Capital), Dave Eaton (Rochester), Mark Gaughan (WNY), Andrew Hickey (Staff Liaison), Dottie Pepper (HOF Rep), and Doug Vergith (NYC/LI).
This is the seventh Class to be elected to the NYSGA Hall of Fame.
The formal induction will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford, N.Y., and all interested individuals are encouraged to attend and support this wonderful class of deserving individuals.

The inaugural Class was inducted in November of 2012 at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y. and includes Donald Allen, Ray Billows, Frederick Box, Betty Deeley, Grantland Rice and William Tryon. The second Class was inducted in October of 2015 at the Country Club of Rochester and includes John Konsek, Thomas Reidy, Donald Ross, Lancy Smith and Sam Urzetta. The third Class was inducted in October of 2017 at Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y. and includes Virginia Guilfoil Allen and Alan Foster. The fourth Class was inducted in November of 2018 at Brookhaven Golf Club in Porter Corners, N.Y. and includes Walter Hagen, Dottie Pepper, Gene Sarazen, and Willie Turnesa. The fifth Class was inducted in October of 2019 at Elmira Country Club in Elmira, N.Y. and includes John Baldwin, Mary Anne Widman Levins, Joey Sindelar and Walter Travis. The sixth Class was inducted in October of 2022 at Irondequoit Country Club in Pittsford, N.Y. and includes Roslyn ‘Cookie’ Swift Berger, Robert Biviano, Terry Diehl, Jeff Sluman and Jean Ramaker Trainor.
