RESULTS : 2025 NYSGA Amateur Series Championship at CC of Troy
TROY, N.Y. – The 2025 New York State Golf Association Amateur Series closed with its culminating event, the Amateur Series Championship, hosted at the CC of Troy.
The top-120 players on the season-long points list were invited, and 88 players from around the state competed in the twenty-fifth and final event of the 2025 NYSGA Amateur Series season.
The championship was the culmination of a season-long points race, where hundreds of amateur players from around New York State competed in handicapped tournaments for prizes awarded in both gross and net, acquiring points (based on their net finishes) throughout the schedule with hopes of qualifying for the championship. Point totals were calculated based on the sum of each individual player’s top-5 tournament finishes in 2025.
At the post-championship banquet and awards ceremony, in addition to handing out gift certificates and winner trophies, the four net division winners went home with special NYSGA Amateur Series golf bags courtesy of our friends at Jones Sports Co.

The NYSGA Amateur Series is a collection of one-day, handicapped tournaments conducted by the New York State Golf Association. These fun, competitive tournaments are held at premier private and public golf courses across New York and are open to all golfers, regardless of skill level. The top finishers at each event earn gift certificates to the host club pro shop while all players earn points towards the Series Championship.
