- Syracuse's Ricky Reilly Qualifies for Third Consecutive U.S. Adaptive Open

New York natives Kevin Roy and James Nicholas qualified for the U.S. Open on Monday after a 36-hole qualifier at Century Country Club and Golf Club of Purchase. It's the second consecutive year that Nicholas, a Scarsdale native, has advanced through "Golf's Longest Day." It will be the first major-championship start for Roy, the Syracuse native. The group is spread out across five qualifiers being conducted on June 8, with most of the Empire Staters competing in Purchase, N.Y and Canada. The Rochester area native who now resides in Pinehurst, N.C. captured the historic title over the weekend at the Donald Ross gem. - Green & Kim-Schaad Set to Compete at 81st U.S. Women's Open at The Riviera
