- Several Empire Staters Competing at Monroe Invitational in Rochester
The prestigious invitational held at Monroe GC in Rochester is hosting several players from the state against national competition. The field includes past NYS Men's Am champions Aiden Spampinato, Kyle Downey, Charlie Berridge among some others. Leaderboard - Three NYS Players Compete at U.S. Junior Amateur in Dallas
Edward Molloy of Rye, Dean Muratore of Long Island, and Jackson Ormond of Rochester are representing the state at the U.S. Junior Amateur at Trinity Forest. Liam Moloney earned an exemption by winning the NYS Boys' 18U, but was unable to accept due to a conflict with a prior commitment. Four NYS Players Compete at U.S. Girls’ Junior in Atlanta
A quartet of junior girls represented the Empire State at this year’s U.S. Girls’ Junior including NYS Girls’ Junior champion and runner-up Amelie and Alexa Phung of Forest Hills, along with Jordan Levitt of Bedford, along with Maddie Chang of NYC. The Duke University commit defeated his brother Alexander at Southampton GC, 1 up, in the final match. Recap story. - John Hiller Finishes T-6 at Porter Cup in Buffalo
The 2025 NYS Men's Amateur runner-up out of Westchester CC, finished tied for sixth at this year's Porter Cup at Niagara Falls CC. Final Results - Ricky Reilly of Syracuse Finishes in Top 20 at U.S. Adaptive Open
The Syracuse area player shot 8-over 224 (75-76-73) at the national open to finish inside the top 20 overall. Final Results - Jackson Saroney & Dean Muratore Co-Medal U.S. Amateur Final Qualifying at Whippoorwill
The two NYS standout golfers fired 5-under 65s at the New York State golf course to share co-medal honors and lead a group of 9 total to the national event. Joining them from NYS is Alex Zurat and Timothy Hegarty. Final Results

- Kevin Roy Fires Course Record at PGA Tour's Rocket Mortgage Classic
The Syracuse native and tour player shot a course record 62 to share the first-round lead with Aldrich Potgieter. Recap story. - Tanner LaTorre Wins 2025 International Junior Masters Tournament

Olivia Deakins Claims Women’s Met Amateur Title at Sunningdale

Kellen Dean Qualifies for Korn Ferry Tour’s Wichita Open
The 2023 NYS Junior Amateur champion qualified for his first pro event during a collegiate event that he won during his freshman season at Xavier University. Times Union article. -
Anthony Delisanti Competes at Sunnehanna
The former NYS Junior Am champion is competing in the Sunnehanna and finished T32. Final Results -
Nicholas Makes 36-hole Cut at First U.S. Open After Strong Start
Both players ended up playing the weekend at Oakmont, with Nicholas at T61 while Young finished inside the top 10. Final results. -
Choe / Saroney win NYSPHSAA Titles
Syracuse's Jackson Saroney fired 10-under over 36 holes at Mendon GC. NYC’s Nina Choe was the only player under par both days to win by seven strokes at Wild Wood CC. -
Kevin Roy Finishes Top-20 at Canadian Open
The Syracuse native shot a 64 on Saturday and finished T18. It marks his fifth Top 25 finish this season on tour. Final leaderboard. -
James Nicholas Qualifies for 2025 U.S. Open, Cameron Young Gets in at 5-for-1 Playoff
Nicholas was medalist in NJ to qualify for his first U.S. Open, while Young advanced during a 5-for-1 playoff in a different qualifier. Qualifying results.
