The Buffalo District standout finished as the medalist at 10-under par 134 with the Colgate University golf course playing around 7,100 yards.

Delisanti is no stranger to Seven Oaks Golf Club. He had won the 2021 NYS  Boys' Junior Championship shooting even par over 36 holes.

The Valparaiso University player had sole possession of the lead for most of the first round where he fired a 5-under round 67 and never looked back from there. In his first round, he knocked in 7 birdies.

During the second round, due to course conditions being unplayable, players were called in for about an hour and a half. However, this delay did not slow Delisanti down. Once play resumed, he went on to birdie the next three holes and take a commanding lead over the field. He finished his second round almost identical to his first with another 5-under with 7 birdies on the scorecard again.

Rylan Shim from Fairfax, Virginia also claimed a qualifying position to this year's national championship after finishing at 5-under par.

Over his two rounds on the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. layout, he was able to card a 4-under 67 for his first round and a 1-under 71 in his second for a total score of 139.

A playoff was needed between three players who finished tied at 1-under par to decide the two alternate positions. The three were Richard Donegan of Florida, Ben Carpenter of Connecticut and Anthony Alex of New Jersey. The playoff began on #13 where Donegan was eliminated. The playoff was then suspended due to darkness and resumed on Tuesday at 7am on #1. Carpenter earned the First Alternate position while Anthony Alex is Second Alternate.

Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado will host this year’s U.S. Amateur Championship from August 14-20.
