History

Located only fifteen miles from Manhattan in the picturesque Village of Pelham Manor, it is both a community focal point and an accessible escape for city dwellers. Golfers can hone their skills on an 18-hole course that hosted the 1923 PGA Championship, described by many as one of the most dramatic finishes in history.  Gene Sarazen's winning shot on the 38th hole of his match with Walter Hagen remains in the top ten all time great shots in the event's history.  Golfers also enjoy a three hole practice facility for chipping and bunker play,a driving range and a large putting green.  PGA professionals have a full schedule of competitive and recreational events for members, provide videotaped private lessons, group clinics and organize group outings.
