NYSGA State Days Tournament Series
NYSGA Tournaments for Players of ALL Abilities!
The New York State Golf Association's State Days Tournament Series consists of 13 one-day net tournaments located across the State of New York, where players are divided into flights based on gender and individual course handicaps. Considering that all fields consist of players with different Handicap Indexes, the following is an estimate of the flight distribution:
Men's Flights: ~0-9, 10-18, and 19 & Above
Women's Flights: ~0-18 and 19 & Above
Prizes in the form of pro shop credit are awarded to the top finishers of each flight and to the low gross winner for both the men's and women's division. Ties are broken using the USGA card matching method.
***Included in each entry fee is the discounted green and cart fee, range balls, $10 towards prizes, tee gift, and a meal either during or at the conclusion the round.***
Champions' Day
The five individual flight champions and the two low gross champions are entered, completely FREE OF CHARGE, into a season-finale tournament aptly named Champions' Day. This invitation only tournament for 2010 State Days Series champions will be held on September 18, 2010 in Syracuse at Drumlins Country Club's East Course.
